"Seek out that particular mental attribute which makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive, along with which comes the inner voice which says, 'This is the real me,' and when you have found that attitude, follow it." ~ James Truslow Adams Now that this glorious* winter is almost over, it's time to set our sights on spring, and the rich promise of growth that it brings.
When you look back over the past two months, are you happy with where you're headed? Or does it feel as if you're going down the same road you've been down dozens of times before? Sometimes the Universe hands us a bump in the road, and we have to adjust our path accordingly. This happened to Robert and me last September, and we've been on a crazy rollercoaster for the last five months. It finally seems to be slowing down, and I'm now ready to pick up where I had planned to start last September - by joining Toastmasters. This isn't a new plan. I first thought of joining thirty years ago, but for one reason or another, wasn't ready. Now I feel ready, and I'm looking forward to finding my voice and discovering what I have to say, and trusting that it will be the right thing. If you have a little voice inside you that is pointing you in a certain direction, take the time to listen. Maybe you are ready to move, breathe, open up to what the Universe has to offer. It starts with taking that one small step on the road of your dreams. Who knows where it will lead? Step into your courage and find out. I'll join you there. Want to listen for that inner voice? A gentle yoga or restorative Yoga Nidra class can start you on the path. See the schedule here. Namaste, Donna *The winter was a bit dull, really, but "glorious winter" sounded so much better. Poetic licence!
